Meet the Artists on Thursday, April 30, 2026, 1:30 - 3:00 pm
Birds have long been powerful symbols in spring art across cultures, perfectly complementing the theme of renewal. Their appearance in paintings, alongside blooming flowers - adds layers of meaning that go far beyond simple decoration. Across traditions, birds announce seasonal transitions, carrying messages of transformation and hope.
Members from the Manasquan River Group of Artists (MRGA38.org), founded in 1938, will exhibit and offer for sale an esteemed collection of floral works, local landscapes and images of birds in the Meeting Room of the library from March 8th through April 30. The public is invited to meet some of the artists at the closing reception on April 30, from 1:30 - 3:00 pm. Enjoy free refreshments with MRGA!
