ARTSSt. Johns All-County Middle School Art Show held at the St. Augustine Art Association Lucia VitiSt. Augustine RecordMarch 6, 2025, 5:36 p.m. ETThe St. Augustine Art Association’s St. Johns All-County Middle School Art Show showcases student art for grades 6 through 8 from March 7 through March 30 at STAA’s location at 22 Marine St. as well as online at staaa.org.The annual event, now in its 15th year, celebrates the creativity of the county’s young artists while underscoring the importance of art appreciation for all youth. Working in tandem, the 20th annual St. Johns All-County High School Art Show debuts on April 4.Jennifer Flynt, STAAA’s executive director, said the event conveys history, experience and thought.“Art is an important tool for self-expression,” she said in a release. “Art connects students with their culture and heritage and helps students develop critical thinking skills, communication and creativity.”The St. Johns All-County Middle School Art Show will be unveiled during St. Augustine’s First Friday Art Walk on March 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. The show is presented in partnership with the St. Johns County Schools and sponsored partly by grants from the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council, the St. Johns County Cultural Council, the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida and the Benjamin & Jean Troemel Arts Foundation.Featured Weekly Ad
