Download An error occurred while preparing your download For the ninth consecutive year, the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority has been recognized as one of Tampa Bay’s Top Workplaces by the Tampa Bay Times. Tampa International Airport may be known as America’s Favorite Airport, but it’s also one of the Tampa Bay area’s best places to work according to the Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces list, which ranks employers based on direct feedback from their employees.The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, which manages TPA and its three general aviation airports, earned a spot on the list for the ninth consecutive year, placing 36th in the large organization category out of 165 total workplaces honored. Download An error occurred while preparing your download As in previous years, HCAA’s ranking was determined through the organization’s annual Workplace Experience Survey. The survey, conducted last fall by Energage, gathered feedback from employees on topics such as pay and benefits, leadership, organizational direction, meaningfulness, and appreciation.An impressive 638 employees, representing 90% of the Authority’s workforce, participated in the survey. Respondents gave high marks for HCAA’s benefits package and reported feeling well-informed about upcoming organizational decisions. The Authority also scored strongly in employee retention, with results showing fewer team members looking to leave the organization.
