Man jailed after intoxication incident and threats at Stafford fast food restaurant Stafford, VA — A morning call to a local fast food restaurant led to an arrest after deputies encountered a man showing signs of intoxication and making threats during transport. The incident occurred around 10:02 a.m. April 30 at a Hardee’s on Prosperity Lane. A deputy responded to reports of an intoxicated individual and made contact with a man later identified as Christopher Hurley, 36, of Stafford. According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, Hurley displayed slurred speech and an unsteady balance. Deputies also located an alcoholic beverage on his person. While being transported to the magistrate’s office, Hurley admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day and threatened the deputy, authorities said. He was charged with public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober. Key Points
