Presented by Historian and Research Archivist Ryan Radice, Monmouth County Archives With the 250th in full swing, many are diving into revolutionary era research but don't always know where to start. In this crash course, an experienced historian will provide an overview of the major types of records used to research the revolutionary era in New Jersey, what they can tell you, and where they can be found, helping participants build a foundation for their own research projects. About the presenter: Ryan Radice is a professional historian and research archivist at the Monmouth County Archives. He regularly assists the public with research projects, especially those dealing with the American Revolution and early New Jersey history. His research interests are broad, and he has written, published, and spoken on such topics as New Jersey's military history during the revolution and early-republican eras, the transformation of Ellis Island during WWI, and other topics concerning New Jersey history and archaeology.
