Historically Speaking: Storm of Revolution: Highlights from the Monmouth County Historical Association Collection

Presented by Historian Joe Zemla Co-sponsored by the Monmouth County Historical Association Preview the upcoming exhibition scheduled to open at the Monmouth County Historical Association (MCHA) at the end of April! The exhibition will utilize hundreds of archival documents and objects from the museum collection to bring to life the drama, glory, and impact of the American Revolution in Monmouth County, as well the divided loyalties that engulfed Monmouth in chaos and civil warfare. This presentation will introduce museum visitors to what they can expect to see and experience, as well as highlight some of the touchstone display pieces such as township petitions, relics from the Battle of Monmouth, and one of the nation’s earliest flags.
