Man arrested after alleged online attempt to meet teen for sex in North Tonawanda North Tonawanda, NY — A months-long investigation into alleged online activity led to the arrest of a Lockport man who police say traveled to meet a minor. The case began in February when detectives with the North Tonawanda Police Department launched an investigation into 30-year-old Devon Kutis. Authorities said investigators determined Kutis had been attempting to solicit a minor through a social media platform. On April 30, detectives arrested Kutis after he traveled to North Tonawanda to meet what he believed was a 14-year-old victim. Kutis has been charged with attempted rape in the second degree, a felony involving an adult accused of targeting a minor under 15. He was taken into custody and booked pending arraignment.
